Tara Rum Pum is an upcoming romantic comedy film that stars Tara Strong and Kevin Smith. It tells the story of two best friends who are both married strangers to each other, and their adventures in Paris while trying to find true love. The movie has been shot in April 2016 and is set for release on September 28 2016. Some people might say that this movie looks like one of the most anticipated films of the year because it's based off a popular novel by Chris Colfer (Lia), but others may not like Tara Rum Pum because it has some very major changes made to the original book (most notably, Chris Colfer's character does not die). On February 27, 2016, Tara Strong announced that she will be starring in "Tara Rum Pum", the sequel to the short film "Tara" from 2011. In a turn of events, Kevin Smith will be directing this movie. Kevin Smith also starred in the 2011 short film as a cameo. Both films were written by Chris Colfer (Lia) and produced by Barbara Colfer (Chris' wife). On April 10, 2016, it was announced that Jay Chandrasekhar will give his voice to the character of "[Jay tells his daughter on Skype]". The film was shot in Paris on April 15–22. Filming for this movie started on April 15, 2016 and finished June 3rd. The movie is set to be released on September 28, 2016. On April 22, 2016, Tara Strong announced the title of the movie, "Tara Rum Pum", and wrote on Twitter: "This is so exciting.
